PaidToGo is a legitimate iPhone rewards app, but its subscription economics are difficult to recommend for walking income alone. The current official rules cap Pro activity coins at 20 per day, each worth one US cent, while the US monthly plan costs $11.99. PayPal cash-out also requires Pro both when requested and when payment eventually arrives. Challenges and referrals can change the outcome, but they add risk or effort rather than making the base walking return stronger.
This source-based review uses PaidToGo's official site, terms, privacy policy and current US App Store listing, checked July 27, 2026. User payment reports are identified as reports, not treated as our own experience.
The quick verdict
Legit? A real published app with stated PayPal rules, but use caution around payout conditions.
Platforms: iPhone only in the current verified listing. No live official Android listing found.
Pro price: $4.99 weekly, $11.99 monthly, $24.99 quarterly or $59.99 yearly in the US App Store.
Coin value: one coin equals one US cent under the current terms.
Cash-out: PayPal, normally 6 to 8 weeks after the end of the purchase month.
Best for: active iPhone users who value gamified goals and understand that challenge entries can lose money.
Our verdict: PaidToGo can motivate activity, but Pro is not compelling as a simple paid-to-walk subscription. The published walking cap does not comfortably cover most subscription options. The annual plan has the closest arithmetic, but leaves little room for missed targets, fees or delays.
iPhone, Android and geographic availability
PaidToGo is currently listed by Apple as only for iPhone, requires iOS 16.0 or later, and is published by Paid To Go LLC. It imports step data from Apple Health, so Apple Health permission is essential. Indoor treadmill and outdoor steps can count when they reach Apple Health.
We could not verify a current official Google Play listing. Third-party pages preserve an old Android version last updated in 2021, but that is not evidence of present support. PaidToGo also does not publish a clear current country list. Its rules use US dollars and PayPal, while App Store availability and subscription prices vary by region. Check your local storefront and PayPal eligibility before subscribing.
How coins and mileage earnings work
PaidToGo converts Apple Health steps into full 2,000-step miles. Partial miles do not roll into the next day. The terms give a sharp example: 1,999 daily steps earn no mileage coins, while 3,999 steps earn credit for one mile. Rates increase as users level up.
At level 9, free users can receive up to four coins per 2,000 steps and four for their daily target, with a six-coin daily activity cap. Pro users can receive up to 10 coins per 2,000 steps and up to 20 for the target, with a 20-coin daily activity cap. PaidToGo's FAQ summarizes the monthly walking and running limit as 600 coins. Games, referrals and other bonuses sit outside that activity cap.
The daily goal is not fixed. Official guidance says it is 20% above your previous 90-day average, with a 6,000-step minimum, and updates every five days. This design rewards improvement, but it also means a highly active user receives a harder target.
Is PaidToGo Pro worth it?
| US Pro option | Listed price | Effective monthly cost | Against 600-coin activity cap |
|---|---|---|---|
| Weekly | $4.99 | Varies by billing dates | Poor fit for base activity |
| Monthly | $11.99 | $11.99 | Costs more than the $6 cap |
| Quarterly | $24.99 | About $8.33 | Costs more than the $6 cap |
| Yearly | $59.99 | About $5.00 | Small maximum margin before catches |
The comparison uses PaidToGo's own one-cent coin value and 600-coin monthly activity limit. It is not an earnings forecast. Reaching 600 every month requires consistently hitting the applicable cap, and cash-out conditions still apply. Game offers and referrals may add value, but they require extra time, data sharing or successful paid conversions.
PaidToGo's FAQ mentions a free trial, but neither the current US App Store page nor public terms state a guaranteed duration or eligibility. Trust the Apple purchase sheet shown to your account. Trial and subscription renewals are managed through Apple; Apple advises cancelling at least 24 hours before a free or discounted trial ends if you do not want renewal.
PayPal cash-out rules and timing
Current terms say Pro is required to purchase a payout. PaidToGo's how-it-works page says there are three payout tiers and one cash-out per month, up to $30. You must add the email used to log in to PayPal, not a PayPal.me address.
Payment is not quick. The terms say normally 6 to 8 weeks after the end of the month in which the payout was purchased, sometimes longer because of Apple's fiscal calendar. Pro must remain active when PaidToGo sends the payment. If it lapses, the coins return to your balance and you must resubscribe to buy another payout. This can add subscription cost during the wait.
How PaidToGo challenges work
Challenges are wagers, not guaranteed earnings. Users pay an entry fee through PayPal, then winners who hit the step target split the losers' pot after an admin fee. The public guide lists $25 challenges for free users and $25 or $50 challenges for Pro. Terms put admin fees between 10% and 20% and say entry fees are non-refundable for any reason.
A typical 30-day target is 20% above your daily average multiplied by 30. Step credit also has a daily cap, so one huge day cannot necessarily rescue several missed days. Device or sync failure is placed on the user under the terms. Only enter if losing the full fee would be acceptable.
Privacy, legitimacy and common catches
Apple says identifiers may be used to track users across other companies' apps and websites. Health and fitness data, contact information, user content and identifiers may be linked to identity. PaidToGo's privacy policy also says it may collect account, payment, device, IP and usage information and share information with service providers. The terms say data is not sold, but that does not make collection minimal.
PaidToGo has legitimacy signals: a long-running App Store listing, a named LLC, published rules and 5,500 US ratings averaging 4.6 when checked. Yet recent App Store reviews include complaints alleging missed or repeatedly delayed payouts and unanswered support emails. Other reviews report successful payments. We cannot independently verify either side, and the official 6-to-8-week delay means users should preserve screenshots of balances, payout requests and support correspondence.
The biggest catches are written into the official rules: active Pro is needed at payout time, reward rates and caps can change, challenge fees are non-refundable, sync failures can lose credit, and PaidToGo may withhold payment for unusual activity. Those terms matter more than the headline maximum.

Is PaidToGo legit?
It is a real iPhone app with published earning and PayPal rules. However, payout conditions are restrictive and recent reviews include serious complaints, so legitimate should not be read as guaranteed profit.

No current official Android listing could be verified. The maintained app is presently listed by Apple as iPhone only.
How much does PaidToGo Pro cost?
On July 27, 2026, the US App Store listed weekly $4.99, monthly $11.99, quarterly $24.99 and yearly $59.99 options. Local pricing may differ.
How long do PaidToGo payouts take?
Official terms say normally 6 to 8 weeks after the end of the month when the payout was purchased, with possible additional delay.
