Fitcoin is moving from “project” to product. This update is for anyone who has been watching from the sidelines and wants to know what the first public version will feel like to use day to day.
Fitcoin has been submitted to the App Store
The first version of Fitcoin for iOS has been submitted to the App Store for review. Once it is approved, you will be able to connect Apple Health and start earning rewards with no waitlist and no invite code: just sign in, turn on Health permissions, and your FitScore will begin reflecting the work you already do.
Your workouts are recognised
When Apple Health records a workout, Fitcoin turns it into FitScore and, when it is worth calling out, sends a single notification to let you know how much that session moved your day forward. The goal is a gentle prompt that feels earned, not a constant stream of noise.
Daily scores that stay in sync
The home card now refreshes itself when you open the app so your FitScore and FitCoins feel current without extra taps. On the Social tab, you and your friends start each day at zero again at local midnight, so leaderboards feel like a fresh comparison for that day rather than a mix of old and new activity.
A clearer FitRaffle experience
FitRaffle has been redesigned so it is easier to understand at a glance. Campaigns share a single hero card look and detail pages use simple language to show what is live, what is tracking in the background, and how entries work. The terms also explain that you can request a free entry by email, so there is always a no-purchase route into a draw.
Privacy and site aligned with the app
The privacy policy now spells out how Fitcoin uses HealthKit, notifications, location, and analytics data, and what is explicitly off the table, such as selling personal data or using health information for ads. The website has been updated to remove waitlist forms, add an App Store badge, and describe Fitcoin as something you can download and use today.
Looking ahead
The next phase is about breadth rather than complexity: more partner rewards, more ways to see progress, and small quality-of-life improvements that keep Fitcoin simple to live with. If you have feedback or want to plug Fitcoin into your community or brand, reach us at hello@fitcoin.co.
