Monthly vs annual: the maths
At US pricing, monthly Premium costs $71.88 over twelve months ($5.99 x 12). Annual Premium costs $46.99, a saving of $24.89. That works out to roughly $3.92 per month on the annual plan.
Annual only makes financial sense if you plan to keep Premium for the full year. WeWard may offer a free trial on first subscription in some countries. Cancel before the trial ends if you do not want to pay. Subscription management happens through your Apple or Google account, not inside WeWard directly.
Free Premium: the 2,000-Ward route
WeWard offers a no-payment path to Premium. Earn 2,000 qualifying Wards from surveys, in-app games or validated Top Deals partner purchases, and you unlock six months of Premium status.
Critical detail: Wards from walking do not count toward the 2,000 total. This is an engagement reward for users who complete offers, not a walking milestone. To keep Premium after six months, earn another 1,000 qualifying Wards during each period.
For walkers who refuse ads and offers, the free route is slow or impractical. For users already completing WeWard surveys and partner deals, it can be the smartest option. Full feature breakdown is in is WeWard Premium worth it.
What Premium includes (price context)
Knowing the price is only half the question. Premium adds:
- Weekend Ward bonus (1 extra Ward per 10 earned during the week)
- Ad-free experience
- Priority cash conversions
- VIP customer support
- Monthly reward drops
The weekend bonus is the main earning perk, but at normal step totals it adds pennies per month. Most of Premium's value is convenience (no ads, faster cash-outs) rather than dramatically higher walking pay. See how much does WeWard pay for base earning rates.
How Premium price compares to earnings
At typical walking rates, a free WeWard user might earn $1-5 per month in Wards. Premium at $5.99/month costs more than most walkers earn from steps alone. The subscription only makes sense if you value the non-walking perks or earn enough from the weekend bonus to offset the fee.
Quick reference: if you earn 60 Wards per month from walking (a solid daily walker), the weekend bonus adds roughly 6 extra Wards. At typical conversion rates, that is worth well under $1. You would need far higher Ward totals or heavy offer activity to break even on a paid subscription.
Country availability notes
WeWard Premium is not offered in every country where the base app operates. If the Premium tab does not appear in your profile, it may not be available in your market yet. US, UK, France and several EU countries typically have access.
Billing currency follows your App Store or Google Play region. A UK account sees GBP. A French account sees EUR. Cross-border price comparisons require converting at current exchange rates, which we have not done here because in-app local pricing can include regional adjustments.
