Run Club Waiver & Community Guidelines

1. Voluntary participation

I am taking part in all Club Activities voluntarily, at my own risk, and as an independent participant. I understand the physical demands and potential risks involved, including but not limited to muscle strain, sprains, falls, collisions, road-traffic hazards, pre-existing condition aggravation, serious injury, illness, or, in rare cases, death.

2. Medical fitness

I confirm that I am in good health and physically capable of participating. I understand it is my responsibility to consult a qualified physician before engaging in physical activity, particularly if I have any underlying health condition, am pregnant, or am recovering from injury. I will stop and seek help if I feel unwell at any point during a Club Activity.

3. Personal responsibility

I will follow all general health and safety guidance, including staying appropriately hydrated, wearing suitable footwear and clothing, and ensuring my own fitness is suitable for the activity. I will obey traffic rules and signals, be mindful of weather and ground conditions, and follow any specific safety instructions given by the run club organisers or hosts.

4. Assumption of risk

I assume full responsibility for any risk of injury, property damage, or loss that may result from my participation in Club Activities, including risks that may not be obvious or anticipated.

5. Release of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and hold harmless FITCOIN LTD, its directors, employees, club organisers, hosts, volunteers, sponsors, and any affiliated individuals or entities from any liability, claims, demands, or actions arising from injury, illness, death, loss, or damage related to my participation in Club Activities, whether arising from negligence or otherwise. Nothing in this waiver excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the laws of England and Wales.

6. Participants under 18

Club Activities are intended for participants aged 18 and over unless an organiser states otherwise in writing. If you are under 18, you may only take part with the knowledge and consent of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these terms on your behalf and is responsible for your supervision and wellbeing during the activity.

7. Photography & media

Photos and videos are sometimes taken at Club Activities for community and promotional purposes. By attending you acknowledge this may happen. If you do not wish to appear in any photo or video, please let an organiser know at the event and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

8. Community guidelines

• Respect others. Be kind, inclusive, and supportive of every participant, regardless of pace, ability, or experience.
• Zero tolerance for abuse. Bullying, harassment, discrimination, or aggressive behaviour will not be accepted.
• No solicitation. Please don't promote products, services, or events without prior permission from the organisers.
• Listen to the organisers. Follow instructions so sessions stay safe, smooth, and enjoyable for everyone.
• Be aware of your surroundings. Respect pedestrians, follow road safety, and run responsibly in public spaces.
• Look after our spaces. Take any litter with you and help keep our running spots clean.

Organisers reserve the right to remove anyone who fails to comply with these guidelines.

9. Acknowledgement

By participating in a FitCoin Club Activity, I acknowledge that I have read and understood this waiver and the community guidelines, and I agree to be bound by their terms.
